At the southern end of Tioman Island, Sri Sentosa Chalet is situated with the peak of Sri Nenek Mukut standing boldly in the backdrop of this little fishing village. The largest waterfall in Tioman, Asah Waterfall, is about a half-hour trek from the village of Mukut. There, guests can swim in the cool refreshing pool at the bottom of the waterfall.
There are a few deserted beaches in Mukut village, complete with regional wildlife. Adventurous guests can go rock climbing at Twin Peaks, accompanied by a guide which can be arranged by the hotel. Sri Sentosa Chalet is a great base from which to experience everything this beautiful village has to offer.
