By Air
Sarawak is well connected by air from Kuala Lumpur and other destinations in the country as well as several other international destinations. The main airport is located in Kuching namely Kuching International Airport and supported by a number of smaller airports and airstrips such as Miri Airport, Bintulu Airport and Sibu Airport.
Flight duration from Kuala Lumpur to Kuching only takes 1 hour and 45 minutes per way. Most of the domestic flights are operated by Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia. Silk Air, Royal Brunei Airline, Tiger Airways, Jetstars and Batavia Air are some of the airlines that connects visitors from the neighboring states and countries to Sarawak.
By Sea
Get in to Sarawak by sea is possible as the state is connected by regular ferry services from Labuan and Brunei. The staging point in Sarawak is located in Lawas and Limbang.
By Road
Regular bus services are available from Brunei to Miri. The journey takes approximately 5 hours per trip.
