By Air
Direct flights are available on daily basis operated by Malaysia Airline from KLIA to Sultan Ismail Petra Airport in Pengkala Chepa, Kelantan. Firefly and AirAsia also operate flights from LCCT and Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang respectively.
By Rental Car or Self Drive
Kelantan is linked by a comprehensive road network from other parts of the country. Visitors can drive along the East West Highway to reach Kota Bharu and the journey from Kuala Lumpur takes about 5 hours.
By Bus
There are plenty of scheduled long distance air conditioned bus services available from Kuala Lumpur to major towns of Kelantan. Visitors from Kuala Lumpur can take a bus from Hentian Putra (near PWTC) and tickets can be booked online well in advanced. Some of the popular destinations in Kelantan includes Kota Bharu, Gua Musang, Rantau Panjang, Pengkalan Kubor and Tumpat.
By Rail
Daily train service is available from KL Sentral Station to Kelantan. The train service is operated by the Malayan Railways and the journey takes about 14 hours per trip. Taking a train from Singapore and Johor is also possible with a 14.5 hours journey via Express Timuran.
