Getting around in Sarawak is easy with plenty of local buses and taxis readily available. Most of the buses and taxis ply around major hotels, shopping malls and tourist attractions. Trans Borneo Highway is the best route for overland transfer between Sarawak, Sabah and Brunei, however, long journey should be expected and stopover should be planned during the journey.
For self drive journey, rental car can be obtained easily from airports and local travel agencies.
By Air
Despite the vast size of the state, travel around in Sarawak by air is a good option to shorten the travel time. Airports are located in Miri, Bintulu, Sibu and Mulu.
