Visit to Sipadan requires entrance permit and the quota is rather limited. Mataking resort departs once a week and the journey from Mataking to Sipadan takes about 1 hour ++. Although I don’t dive, but I still follow the divers to Sipadan. Snorkeling here is fantastic with diversified of fish species can be spotted easily.

Diving or snorkeling in such super clear water is absolutely fantastic. Only I and my cousin brother is experiencing snorkeling here with a guide guiding us. The guide is really good as he can spot any fish species fast and sharp, as soon as he spotted it, he will guide me to a nearer spot to see them clearer. While we are snorkeling at the Baracuda Point, we are so lucky that we encountered a school of bumphead and jackfish twisting like a twister. Swim by such a large group of fish is really a good experience. We also spotted a lot of turtles, just swim beside me.
