Head to Dali Ancient City, founded during the Ming Dynasty, it’s recognised as the first historical and cultural city in China. Try ethnic Bai food and drink or browse marble products, tie-dye and straw braids. End the night with a delicious dinner before checking into the hotel and having a restful night.

Delight in a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel before checking out and heading to Xizhou Ethnic Bai Residence, a must-see for its traditional Bai residences, culture and history. Savour lunch before returning to Shangri-la and visiting Bala Village, a unique settlement located in the mountains.
Then, head to Dolma Lakhang, a small temple consisting of mud statues of Tibetan Buddhist gods and goddesses. This is followed by a visit to the Shambhala Natural Pagoda, a natural stupa located over 4,200 metres above sea level. When done, have dinner and return to the hotel to get some rest.

Savour a hotel breakfast before checking out and heading to the stunning Ganden Sumtselling Temple, the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan. Hop on a buggy ride to explore the surrounding areas of the historic temple. Make the journey to Lijiang and upon arrival, have lunch. Visit Lijiang Ancient Town and make your way to Square Street, located in the heart of the town.
This is where four main streets radiate from the square, slowly breaking off into countless lanes connecting every corner of the town. Next, make a photo stop at Black Dragon Pool Park to capture the breathtaking views of the lake set against the backdrop of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Following a delectable dinner, check into the hotel for a restful night.

Once done, transfer to Kunming Changshui International Airport for your flight check-in. Board your return flight and arrive safely in Kuala Lumpur.
