Alternately, the Rapid Penang bus no. 401E stops at the airport and Weld Quay jetty where visitors can easily make a transfer to other destinations.

By Sea
Getting into Penang by sea is possible as Penang jetty is connected by regular ferry services from Butterworth. The ferry not only able to carry passengers but also vehicles.
By Rail
Hop on to Malayan Railway train and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the railway from Kuala Lumpur to Butterworth. Choose from first or second class air-conditioned coaches as well as sleeping berths that are all available at affordable rate. Malayan Railway also provides train service to Alor Setar, Padang Besar, Hatyai and Bangkok from Butterworth station.
