Itinerary:

Day 1

Reaching Kota Kinabalu International Airport (It is advised that you arrive by 12:00 PM for your flight). Here you are in Borneo! Our friendly local guide will be waiting to welcome you at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. We’ll head to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch after a brief introduction so you can try some of Sabah’s amazing cuisine.

Our first destination is the well-known Kiulu River suspension bridge, Jambatan Tamparuli. Swing over the bridge, experience its soft sway, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the greenery surrounding it. We will then visit the lively Nabalu Market, where local vendors display their products. Take in the colourful ambiance, peruse handcrafted items, and savour the variety of freshly produced foods.

Next, head to Kinabalu Pine Resort Kundasang for dinner and relaxation. We will visit the peaceful Kinabalu Pine Resort Kundasang at the end of the day. The resort is surrounded by fresh mountain air, making it a relaxing haven. Enjoy a delicious steamboat dinner. After dinner, leave for the evening to your cosy room in preparation for the thrilling Sabah adventure that awaits you when you awaken to breathtaking views of Mount Kinabalu.

As you arrive at Mataking Island, take in the stunning surroundings and enjoy some free time to explore at your leisure. Dive into the crystal-clear waters for your first snorkeling session, immersing yourself in the vibrant marine life beneath the surface. Refuel with a delicious lunch served on the boat, providing sustenance for the next part of your journey.

Continue your exploration with a visit to Timba Timba Island for your second snorkeling session, discovering the colorful coral reefs and fascinating underwater world. On the journey back to Semporna, make a stop at Pom Pom Island, where you can choose to indulge in more snorkeling activities or simply relax and enjoy the island’s beauty.
