Itinerary:

Day 1

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, begin your journey by visiting The Old Post Office, the oldest building in District 1 and the city. Head to the Hundred Years Red Cathedral, standing almost 60 metres tall and named after the red bricks it was built out of. Make a photo stop at the People’s Committee Hall, now used for meetings and to host leaders from inside and outside Vietnam.

Situated in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, visit the French Opera House and marvel at the “flamboyant” architecture style of the French Third Republic. Enjoy free time at Saigon Square Centre, a shoppers’ paradise in the city. Have a delicious dinner at a Halal restaurant before heading to the hotel to check-in. End your night with a comfortable overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Cu Chi to explore the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network used during the Vietnam War. Return to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch at a Halal restaurant, followed by a visit to The Famous Lacquer and The Handicraft Factory Centre to admire traditional Vietnamese craftsmanship.

Then, visit the Al-Rahim Mosque, built by Malaysian–Indonesian Muslims in 1885, it’s considered the first mosque in Vietnam. Head over to Musulman Mosque, built in 1935, it’s the most crowded mosque in Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy dinner at a Halal restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Day 3

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before transferring to My Tho. Take an exciting boat ride up the Mekong River and stop at Thoi Son Islet, a large floating soil dune. Here, you can try seasonal fruits, coconut candy, longan honey tea, and listen to traditional folk songs. Visit the village to mingle with village folk and shop for local handicrafts.

Experience a charming sampan ride through the canals before heading to a Halal restaurant for lunch. Return to Ho Chi Minh City for some free time at Ben Thanh Market, where you can shop for quality Telekung, Baju Kurung and Jubah at reasonable prices. End your day with dinner at a Halal restaurant, then return to your hotel for a relaxing night’s stay.
