Arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport (Recommended flight arrival at 12:00 PM). Welcome to Borneo! When you land at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, our friendly local guide will be there to greet you. After a quick introduction, we’ll head to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch, giving you a taste of Sabah’s fantastic food.
Our first stop is Jambatan Tamparuli, a famous suspension bridge over the Kiulu River. Walk across the bridge, feel its gentle sway, and take in the beautiful views of the surrounding green landscapes. Next, we’ll explore the lively Nabalu Market, where local vendors showcase their products. Dive into the vibrant atmosphere, check out unique crafts, and enjoy the array of fresh goods.
Next, dinner and relaxation at Kinabalu Pine Resort Kundasang. Towards the end of the day, we will go to the serene Kinabalu Pine Resort Kundasang. A peaceful haven, the resort is surrounded by fresh mountain air. Savour a delicious steamboat dinner while exploring different tastes in a relaxing atmosphere. After dinner, rest in your comfortable room for the night, ready to wake up to the stunning views of Mount Kinabalu for the start of an exciting Sabah adventure.

Start your day with a tasty breakfast at the hotel, and then it’s time to check out. Get ready for an exciting day surrounded by nature and fun activities. First up, experience the thrill of the Canopy Walk and soak in the soothing Poring Hot Spring, high up in the Borneo rainforest.
After all the excitement, recharge with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Our next stop is Desa Farm Cattle, a charming farm where you can hang out with friendly cows and enjoy the fresh mountain breeze – a perfect spot for some laid-back moments. We’ll then head to Kinabalu Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the beautiful surroundings, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and take in the stunning views of Mount Kinabalu – a truly magical experience.
As the day winds down, we’ll make our way back to Kota Kinabalu, stopping at a local restaurant for a tasty dinner on the way. Once we reach Kota Kinabalu, it’s time to check in at your hotel. Get ready for a cozy and comfortable overnight stay, wrapping up a day filled with adventure, nature, and the unique culture of Sabah.

After a leisurely morning, gather for a delicious lunch at a nearby local restaurant, savoring the tasty flavors of Sabah. Then, get ready for an exciting adventure as we head to Klias Wetland Jetty for a River Safari Cruise. As we sail through the rivers, keep an eye out for Proboscis Monkeys and other wildlife.
Upon reaching the jetty, enjoy a warm welcome with Hi Tea before setting off on another river cruise. Afterward, we’ll return to the jetty for a hearty dinner. Enjoy a quick river trip to see the breathtaking show of fireflies lighting up the sky. As the day winds down, we’ll take you back to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu. Settle in for a comfortable overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s adventures and anticipating more to come in the heart of Borneo.

Wake up to a delightful breakfast at your hotel, energizing yourself for a day of sun, sea, and adventure. At 8:00 AM, we’ll meet at the hotel lobby and set off on a short and scenic transfer to the jetty. A quick 15-20 minute boat ride awaits, bringing you to the tropical paradise of Manukan Island.
The day begins as you arrive at the sandy beaches of Manukan Island, a marine enthusiast’s paradise. You can choose to snorkel in the clear waters or take part in exciting water sports at your own pace and cost. Manukan Island provides endless opportunities for beach lovers and underwater explorers alike. We continue our island adventure later in the day when we take a boat to discover Sapi Island‘s treasures. You can spend the afternoon relaxing after a filling lunch. You can swim in the cool water, go snorkelling among colourful coral reefs, or just enjoy the tropical sun on the beautiful beaches.
We’ll catch a return boat to Jesselton Point Jetty as the day comes to an end, but please note that departure times are based on weather. When you get back, you have the evening to spend exploring Kota Kinabalu at your own leisure. The night is yours to enjoy, whether you decide to head to one of the many lively night markets, take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront, or simply relax at a local restaurant. After checking into the hotel of your choice in Kota Kinabalu, unwind for the night and dream about the stunning Bornean islands.

Begin your last day with a tasty breakfast at the hotel as you prepare to check out. Today’s activity includes a tour of Kota Kinabalu city, taking in its cultural and historical highlights. Visit the Chinese Temple, express your love for KK at the famous “I Love KK” landmark, and appreciate the charm of the Atkinson Clock Tower.
Our exploration continues with a stop at the City Mosque, showcasing the city’s diverse cultural heritage. Yayasan Sabah provides a glimpse into Sabah’s cultural and natural wonders, followed by a visit to the bustling Filipino Market for some last-minute souvenir shopping.
For lunch, we’ll indulge in local flavours at a nearby restaurant. We’ll make sure you have enough time after lunch to get to the airport in time for your flight (best after 16:00). Take with you the memories of Kota Kinabalu’s energetic city life, varied culture, and the friendly people of Sabah as you bid it farewell. This concludes your amazing Borneo journey until the next time!

We joined this trip during last year end holiday, this time we bring along with our parent so i have to be very careful in choosing the tour. Im lucky to have found this tour from holidaygogogo, the arrangement from preparatio to after tour service is well done by Mr Soo. The tour guide Duncan who is a sabahan is super friendly and know well about head to toe on Sabah. I highly recommend this tour.
We joined this sabah 5d4n tour during Malaysia day, the guide is very nice and helpful, he is a Sabahan. The hotel chosen was located in good location and clean. Most importantly, this itinerary is very good for sightseeing and experience and culture of Sabah.
