Welcome to Mataking Island, an exceptional romantic and diving vacation spot within the Celebes Sea on the east coast of Sabah in Malaysia. Start your journey at 10:30 am when we pick you up from Tawau Airport to take you to Semporna Jetty. At 12:00 pm, hop on a boat that will bring you to the beautiful Mataking Resort, offering stunning views of the Celebes Sea.
Arrive at the resort around 1:00 pm and enjoy a tasty lunch in the peaceful surroundings. After 2:00 pm, check into your comfy room, and the rest of the day is yours to explore. Relax on the beach or try exciting activities like snorkelling or diving. Gather at 6:00 pm for a delicious dinner by the ocean. Mataking Resort is a special place where you can unwind and have fun, creating lasting memories of your tropical getaway.
Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner
Start your day at 7:00 am with a tasty breakfast at the resort. The morning is your time to choose what you want to do during the “Free & Easy” period. You can try exciting activities like snorkelling or scuba diving (own expense) to see the underwater world.
At 12.00 pm, take a break and indulge in a tasty lunch at the resort, recharging your energy for the rest of the day. The afternoon is yours to continue the leisurely pace, whether you prefer to relax or take a stroll around the resort, immersing yourself in the beautiful and charming scenery that Mataking offers.
As the day winds down, come to the resort at 6:00 pm for a delicious dinner. The resort has carefully chosen dinner options so that it’s not just about eating but also about tasting the unique flavors of Mataking in the calm surroundings of the island. After dinner, go back to your comfy room, where it’s peaceful in Mataking. Get ready for another day of fun and relaxation in this beautiful place.

Treat yourself to Spa & Massage services (own expense) for a soothing experience. Check out before 11:00 am and hop on a boat at 11:00 am for a scenic ride to Semporna Jetty. From there, smoothly transfer to Tawau Airport, wrapping up your Mataking getaway with ease.
