Nai Harn Beach is among the best beaches in Phuket, known for its quiet and peaceful ambiance.
Nai Harn has a long stretch of soft sandy beach with great line-up of sunbeds, fantastic for story book on the beach or a lazy sun bath. Its crystal clear water is warm throughout the year, and calm like a lake between November and May. If you love adventures, you can try snorkeling at the nearby Ao Sane Beach, surfing, boogie boarding, and beach volleyball.
There is a 1-km long freshwater lake near the beach, known as Nai Harn Lake. Here you will see bustle of activities including jogging, cycling, kids at the playground, picnic, pedalo paddling and so on. In this peaceful part of Phuket, you will also find Nai Harn Buddhist Monastery, or “Samnak Song Nai Harn”. Early in the morning, you will see the locals donating food and paying respect to the monks.
Nai Harn Beach is one of the best places in Phuket to watch sunset, with a handful of well-known viewpoints around the area including Phromthep Cape, Windmill Viewpoint, and Kata Viewpoint. There are also variety of restaurants and pubs around Nai Harn, serving Thai, seafood, Italian, French and other international cuisine, just nice for dinner after sunset.

Nai Harn Beach is located 18 km from Phuket Town.
During the day, there are regular songthaews servicing Phuket Town market – Nai Harn Beach, which costs around THB35 one-way. Alternatively, tuk-tuks and taxis are available for hire at THB300-400 one-way.
