Kata Noi Beach is a 700-meter long beach located South of Kata Beach. It is a great location to have the best of both worlds – excitement near the happening Kata Beach, and serenity of Kata Noi Beach.
Surrounded by lush jungle, Kata Noi Beach attracts holidaymakers with its soft white sand and clear blue water. With nothing much going on around the beach, people visit the beach mainly for a relaxing, lazy afternoon. There are long lines of sunbeds along the beach for rent, fantastic for the holidaymakers who like to soak up the sun or read their favorite storybook. If you feel like having a traditional Thai massage, there are plenty of massage shacks around the beach for you to choose.
Although Kata Noi Beach is relatively quiet, still you can spot some usual beach activities here such as banana boat, hobie cats, kayaks, jetskiing, and parasailing. You can see surfers riding the waves if the sea is stormy enough, especially during May to October. Water at the southern part of the beach is rocky and comes with colorful coral reefs and tropical fish, an excellent spot for snorkeling.

Kata Noi Beach is located 22 km from Phuket Town.
During the day, between 7.30 am and 6 pm, there are regular songthaews servicing Phuket Town and Kata Noi Beach. One-way fare costs approximately THB30 per person.
