Elephant Village Pattaya is a shelter home for former working elephants, which had lost their natural habitat to human development, or lost their working ability due to ill health or injury. Established in 1973, the village is run as a not-for-profit private company.
If you enjoy interacting with elephants, you wouldn’t want to miss a visit to this wonderful village. All 30 elephants in the village are housed in an environment with lush greenery and river to make them feel at home.
The village runs elephant shows daily at 2.30 pm to 4 pm, demonstrating bathing techniques, how elephants work in the forest for timber trade, and parade of war elephants. Visitors also get to feed the elephants with bananas, pat and play with the elephants, and go on a short ride.
Alternatively, visitors can go for a 45-50 minutes elephant ride across bushes and farmland. The group will stop briefly at the Silk House to see traditional silk production and head back to Elephant Village Pattaya by Land Rover. Seasonal fruits will be served.

Elephant Village Pattaya is located 7 km from Central Pattaya, reachable by taxis or songthaews.
Visitors can also arrange with Elephant Village Pattaya for pick-up services from Pattaya.

Elephant Village Pattaya is open daily from 9 am to 4 pm.
Elephant Show runs from 2.30 pm to 4 pm. Admission fee is THB650 for adult and THB500 for child not taller than 100 cm.
1-hour Elephant Trekking runs at 9 am, 10.30 am, 12.30 am, and 4 pm. Admission fee is THB1200 for adult and THB1000 for child not taller than 100 cm.
3.5-hour Combination Trekking runs at 10.30 am and 4 pm. Admission fee is THB2000 for adult and THB1600 for child not taller than 100 cm.
