Chao Phraya Tourist Boat is perfect for tourists as the boat is serving piers with major tourist attractions. There is also a tour guide on the boat who will recommend and introduce the attractions through out the journey.
Chao Phraya Express Boat operation hour and frequency:
Generally, Chao Phraya boats start operation at 5.50am and end at 7.00pm. Most of the boats operate during weekday only except for Orange flag boat who operates on daily basis. Boat departure frequency is varied depends on pier and timing, for details departure timing and frequency, please refer to this time table.

Chao Phraya Tourist Boat is operating on daily basis from 9.30am to 4.00pm with interval of 30 minutes from Sathorn Pier. For updated departure timing and frequency, please refer to this time table.

40 baht (one way ticket) and 150 baht (unlimited day pass), ticket and day pass can be used for express boats with no additional charges.
Chao Phraya Express Boat and Tourist Boat ticketing:
Ticket for both express boat and tourist boat can be obtained at the ticketing counter in Sathorn Pier and Phra Arthit Pier. For tourists who commute with BTS, boat tickets can also be obtained at the BTS tourist service unit in BTS Siam station and BTS Taksin station.
Important: There is incident reported by tourists that there are “ticketing counters” who are trying to sell expensive tourist boat tickets (i.e. 200 baht per trip), please do not buy tickets from them and only get your tickets from the Chao Phraya Express Boat Ticketing counter.
Chao Phraya Express Boat and BTS interchange:
There is only one interchange section between Chao Phraya Express Boat and BTS at Sathorn Pier and BTS Taksin.
