MRT ticketing:
The easiest way to get a MRT ticket is through the Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) or from the ticketing office located in each of the MRT station. However, TVM is only able to issue single journey token, and only able to take 1, 5, 10 coin as well as 20, 50 and 100 bank note.
If you are traveling to several stations in a single day or for longer period, Stored Value Card is a better option. To get a MRT stored value card, visit the ticketing office in the respective station. Depending on the duration of your stay and the number of stations you will commute, 1 day pass, 3 day pass, 15 day pass or 30 day pass can be a good option for saving some transportation fee.
